Independent Herbalife Distributors
1. What the business is
Independent Herbalife Distributors buy products from the company to use themselves or to sell to customers, and give accurate product information based on the label.
Independent Distributors run their own business. They are not employees, agents or franchisees of the company.

2. Is it right for you?
The main work is looking after customers, sharing product information, learning the business system and following company rules and the law.
How you work
- Part-time or full-time
- You set your own hours to suit your goals and lifestyle
- According to the company, most distributors work part-time and earn only a small supplementary income
It may suit you if…
- You have time to learn and can work consistently
- You enjoy talking with and looking after customers
- You are ready to learn about the products and the business system
What to understand before you start
- It takes time to learn and to keep looking after customers
- There is no guaranteed income
- Results depend on many factors and may not come quickly
- You must follow the company's rules and guidelines
3. How to start
Everyone who signs up needs a "sponsor": an Independent Distributor who introduces you to the business and acts as your adviser. You can only sign up through the company's official channels.
- Ask us on LINE and learn as much as you need first
- Prepare the requirements and documents listed under "Costs and what to prepare"
- Sign up online at MyHerbalife and enter your sponsor, or ask us on LINE for a sign-up link with the sponsor details already filled in
- Buy the starter kit and pay during sign-up, then follow the on-screen steps in MyHerbalife
4. Costs and what to prepare
Costs
- Starter kit: 900 baht including tax, bought during sign-up
- No monthly minimum order, and no sales tools or business packages to buy
Requirements
- Aged 20 or over (for online sign-up)
- An address in Thailand
- A sponsor

- When you leave the business, you can return products bought from the company in the past 12 months, as long as they are unopened and still resaleable. The company arranges collection and pays the return shipping, but shipping paid on the original order is not refunded.

5. Where income comes from
An Independent Distributor's income can come from 2 sources, and both depend on selling products.
2 ways to earn
Way 1: Retail profit
- Buy products from the company at the distributor price
- Sell to customers at the retail price set by the company
- Profit = the difference between the selling price and what you paid
Way 2: Rewards under the marketing plan
- The "marketing plan" is the company's set of rules for how distributors are paid
- When you introduce and support distributors in your team and meet the plan's requirements
- You may earn commissions or bonuses from your team's product use and sales
Retail profit is a figure before your business expenses, such as shipping, travel and advertising.
You cannot earn income from recruiting or sponsoring people alone.

In 2025, many distributors benefited only from product discounts for personal use or retail, and most did not receive commissions or bonuses from the sales of other distributors. No income is guaranteed.

Business results and income vary from person to person and depend on many factors, including time, commitment, skills and business activity. No income or success is guaranteed.

7. About Nutrition Clubs
A Nutrition Club is a place where Independent Distributors meet customers regularly, try and share Herbalife products, and offer nutrition education, with a focus on community.
Opening a club is one option for running the business, not a step everyone has to take, and it must follow the company's rules.
