Protein shakes receive the "Healthier Choice" and "Heart Healthy Food" logos for the 8th year running
According to Herbalife Thailand material, Nutritional Protein Drink Mix has received the "Healthier Choice" logo and the Thai Heart Foundation's food logo for the 8th consecutive year.
A logo on the label shows that the product meets the nutrition criteria set by the awarding organisation.
The "Healthier Choice" logo
- Shows that sugar, fat and sodium are within the criteria set for that food group
- Helps consumers choose foods more easily
- Run jointly by several organisations, including the Nutrition Promotion Foundation and the Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University
The Thai Heart Foundation food logo
- Awarded by the Heart Foundation of Thailand under the Thai Food Good Heart programme
- Given to food products that meet nutrition criteria, focusing on less sugar, fat and salt and more fibre
