Watch out for counterfeits: basic checks from the company notice

Comparison of labels, seals and lot numbers on genuine and counterfeit products

Herbalife products are sold only through independent members and direct selling. The company says it cannot guarantee the safety or quality, or confirm the authenticity, of products bought through unauthorised channels such as online e-commerce platforms.

The company notice gives checkpoints for 2 products, as shown in the image above:

Nutritional Protein Drink Mix (3 checkpoints)

  • The label must be in Thai — in the image, the counterfeit has a foreign-language label.
  • A code is printed on the seal — in the image, the genuine seal has a letter-and-number code; the counterfeit has none.
  • A lot number, manufacture date and expiry date are printed on the bottom of the canister.

Instant Beverage Green Tea Extract (2 checkpoints)

  • The label must be in Thai — in the image, the counterfeit has an English label.
  • There is a lot number with manufacture (MFG) and expiry (EXP) dates — the counterfeit's print looks different.

Other signs

  • Counterfeits may differ in label material, lettering or logos.
  • Buy from an independent member you can verify, not from unauthorised channels.

If you're unsure about a product you received, send photos of the label, seal and canister bottom to LINE @wellnutritionhub, call +66 87 789 5915 or WhatsApp +66 94 356 6365 and we'll take a first look.
